I actually enjoyed the movie, although Nancy, 16 year old Bonita, seemed a little too grown-up, but... about the bedroom scene, if it was in the book, then it was no surprise since Walter Karig, author of Zotz! was the real writer. Read Zotz! and you will understand.

A fun little movie
No more, no less. An entertaining hour or so, as the intrepid Nancy Drew and Ted (not Ned) Nickerson tear around town solving the mystery. A musical number interrupts the action ("Adventures in Babysitting," anyone?)but isn't too bad.
I found the bedroom scene with Nancy and her dad to be vaguely unsettling, but wrote off my reaction to it as a product of living in our troubled times.
Any more Nancy Drews floating around out there? If so, please upload.
